oh when the saints…

They won, that was pretty damn awesome. I was cheering for them but thought that they would get their asses handed to them.

Who knew?

This provided the perfect excuse for some tequila sampling, and so we did.

The ‘Made in ‘Merica’ Patron’s were pretty tasty, the Anejo being my favourite of the lot, and the Don Julio was nice also, very smoky.

The 1800 Reserva was a close second to the Patron Anejo for me in terms of smoothness and peppery flavour. I’d probably choose the 1800 but secretly think the Patron is a bit tastier.

The Cuervo Reserva De La Familia was almost too smooth for a tequila, like butta’. I could offer that to my scotch-drinking pals and I doubt they would peg it for tequila.

Anybody else freezing today? It’s cold here, not all snowed in like the Northeast but cold. With the little ice-cube letters.

In other news, Racing season has begun, Nascar started it but the real racing will begin in March in what promises to be a great F1 season.

Happy Monday everybody!
